OnePlus entered the smartphone market with a tag of “Flagship Killer” but later on after looking at the price of OnePlus 8 series it looks like it became one of the flagships, and the users who used to love OnePlus for better phones at good price went overlooked since the launch of their latest flagships, but finally it looks like OnePlus is making budget-friendly phones under their OnePlus Nord lineup. The OnePlus Nord series will launch on 10 July in India.
OnePlus has not officially revealed the specifications yet but there are many floating around in the community.
According to the leaks, the design is supposed to be a glass back with the curves at the edges with a flat-screen on top. The screen is rumored to be a punch hole selfie camera in the middle. Some leak shows an in-display fingerprint sensor mounted under the screen. If it is true, then the phone will also have an AMOLED display because the fingerprint sensor does not work with LCDs.
OnePlus was quite adamant about not switching back to normal refresh rates during their OnePlus 7T launch event, it can actually come with a 90Hz refresh rate.
