According to a source, Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will have free access to the company’s Google One VPN. As promised at Google event earlier this year. The Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro devices may now connect to Google’s VPN for free. On the Google Pixel 7 or Pixel 7 Pro, the VPN you can use via the Google One app.
A VPN, or Virtual Private Network, is intended to conceal a user’s identity. And while browsing the web while encrypting internet data.
Although Google released the Pixel 7 series in 17 countries, not all of them will have access to the Google One VPN. Well, Google has confirmed that Pixel 7 customers in India and Singapore would not be able to use the VPN.
The Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro can tested by opening the Google One app.
You may also turn on or off the VPN. And like other VPN apps, you can see the icon in the status bar that indicates usage of the service.
Though Google’s VPN service is free on the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, you will apparently need to subscribe to Google One’s 2TB cloud storage plan for $10 (approximately Rs. 800) per month to use it on other devices.
