How much will it cost?
Starts at $449 / £499 / AU$749
When you can order the latest iPad 2022 ?
The new iPad 2022 is available to pre-order now and will ship on October 26 – although don’t be surprised if that date starts slipping for later orders, much as models in the iPhone 14 line faced shipping delays.
How is the Design of latest iPad 2022 ?
The new iPad 2022 has a more modern design than the iPad 10.2 (2021), as the physical home button is gone, allowing for smaller bezels and an all-screen design. The slate comes in silver, blue, pink, and yellow shades. It measures 248.6 x 179.5 x 7mm and a weighs 477g, or 481g for the cellular model.
The screen is bigger than before, at 10.9 inches. It’s a 1640 x 2360 Liquid Retina display with 264 pixels per inch, and a max brightness of 500 nits.
How is the Camera on the latest iPad 2022 ?
The cameras have been upgraded here, with the iPad 2022 having a 12MP f/1.8 snapper on the back, up from 8MP on the previous model .The front facing camera is a 12MP ultra-wide one like last year, but this time it’s in landscape orientation (meaning the lens is in the center of one of the long edges), which makes it better for video calls.
You can record video in up to 4K quality with the rear camera and in up to 1080p with the front one.
As for the battery, as usual Apple hasn’t revealed the capacity, but has said that it offers up to 10 hours of use for web browsing or video watching over Wi-Fi. That’s the same as it said about the last model, so don’t expect improvements here.
One upgrade, though, is that the new iPad 2022 charges via USB-C, rather than Lightning, which is a change that’s been a long time coming.
The new iPad 10.9 2022 runs iPadOS 16 and has an A14 Bionic processor – that’s the chipset you’ll also find in the iPhone 12, and it’s an upgrade over the A13 Bionic in the previous model.
There’s a choice of 64GB or 256GB of storage – although whether that can really be considered a choice in 2022 is another matter, as 64GB is a tiny amount given that it’s not expandable.
There’s also 5G, which wasn’t available with the last model, and there’s still a Touch ID fingerprint scanner despite the removal of the home button – it’s just been rehoused in the top button.
Why NOT to BUY the latest iPad 2022 ?
- The latest iPad 2022 is Overpriced.
- Not a major leap in terms of Performance.
- Need to purchase separate adapter if you want to use the Apple Pencil, costing $9.
