Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy A23 5G. This smartphone has only been available in Japan.In the country, almost every brand, including Oppo and Xiaomi, sells specialized handsets.

The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G appears to be an entry-level smartphone. It does, however, have budget 5G smartphone specs.

Because the device was created specifically for Japan, it includes a few features that are common in handsets sold in the country. They have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, as well as NFC for contactless payments and transit passes.

The phone features a dewdrop notch and a 5.8-inch compact display (TFT LCD) with a resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels (HD+).
It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage.

The device runs the One UI 4.0 software, which is based on Android 12. It has a MicroSD card slot as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The phone has eSIM, 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, and USB Type-C support. It is powered by a 4,000mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy A23 5G – Camera

It has a single 50MP main camera as well as a 5MP front-facing camera. There’s also a single speaker and a fingerprint sensor on the side.

We are not sure about the launch in India, but the smartphone seems promising.
