Furthermore, the latest update will improve the iPhone 14 series’ crash detection capabilities. The crash detection function in the iPhone 14 series automatically contacts emergency services. The Cupertino-based corporation might have adjusted the technology to improve the accuracy of the crash detection algorithm.

The beta software for iOS 16.2, iPadOS 16.2, and macOS Ventura 13.1 was sent to beta testers. The iOS 16.2 update will improve the Always On Display functionality on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The tech giant had stated that the new iOS 16.2 update will be available in mid-December.

In October, Apple announced the iOS 16.1 upgrade, together with iPadOS 16.1, macOS Ventura, tvOS 16.1, and watchOS 9.1. This update contains a fix to address a previously reported zero-day vulnerability in the operating system.
