Users of Reliance Jio across the country are experiencing difficulties making calls and sending texts. Several individuals resorted to the microblogging network Twitter to express their displeasure with the situation. Some allege they are unable to make calls, while others claim they are unable to send or receive messages from their Jio phones. Some customers have also complained about being unable to access mobile internet.
The outage peaked between 6 and 9 a.m. Tuesday, according to Downdetector. According to the tracker, over 38% of customers have reported no signal on their Jio-enabled smartphone. Approximately 37% of customers are unable to make calls, while more than 26% are unable to access the internet on their mobile devices.
Unlike previous outages, the three-hour service disruption had most Jio users’ Mobile Data working normally, with only calling and SMS services affected.
