Today, OPPO launched the OPPO Reno 9 series in China. The OPPO Reno 9, the OPPO Reno 9 Pro, and the OPPO Reno 9 Pro Plus. The official OPPO website, suggests each phone offers a unique set of competitive specifications.
The Reno 9, the series entry-level smartphone, comes first. A 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED 10-bit display with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels. And peak brightness of 950 nits is included.
Oppo Reno 9 Series Details
The Oppo Reno 9 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, which is combined with 8 or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 4500mAh battery with 67W support. In terms of storage, the device is available with either 256 or 512GB of UFS3.1 storage.
In terms of cameras, the Reno 9 has a 64MP + 2MP monochrome dual-camera configuration on the back and a 32MP RGBW selfie camera on the front. Dual SIM, 5G connectivity, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, an under-display fingerprint scanner, Android 13 OS via ColorOS 13, and a graphite cooling system are further notable features.
Oppo Reno 9 Pro+ Specifications
The Reno 9 Pro+ is the lineup’s high-end model, with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It has a 3D hyperboloid design and appears similar to the Reno 8 series. A 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate. HDR10+, 1.07 billion colors, and up to 800 nits of brightness. The phone has 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage space.
Oppo Reno 9 Pro+ Camera
In terms of cameras, the gadget includes a 50MP main (Sony IMX 890) + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP mono triple-camera configuration with OIS and an LED flash on the back. The Reno 9 Pro Plus, like the Reno 9 Pro, includes the MariSilicon X NPU.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC is combined with 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM to power the smartphone. In terms of storage, the Reno 9 Pro Plus is available with either 256 or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The battery is also the largest in the series, with a capacity of 4700mAh. The compatibility for both 80W cable charging and 50W wireless charging. Aside from that, it shares the same specifications as the other two varieties.
OPPO has yet to confirm whether the series would be available outside of China.
