We already know a lot about the Samsung Galaxy S23 series. Another listing may have provided us with a more in-depth look at the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

MyFixGuide discovered a listing for the Galaxy S23 Ultra on China’s TENAA regulatory authority, which we can confirm. The device’s listing (model number SM-S9180) doesn’t include any photographs, but it does provide a slew of obvious specifications.

The item indicates a 6.8-inch 3,088 x 1,440 display, a 4,855mAh battery (presumably rated for 5,000mAh average capacity), 8GB to 12GB of RAM, and storage capacities of 256GB/512GB/1TB. The storage statistics, in example, would be quadruple those of the S22 Ultra, which started at 128GB.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Processor

And for the processor, Ice Universe, a regular leaker, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 clocked at 3.36GHz rather than the normal 3.2GHz.

The TENAA file appears to reflect this change as well. As the phone is listed with an octa-core 3.36GHz CPU (with 2.8GHz medium cores and 2GHz little cores as well).

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Camera

In terms of cameras, TENAA applications can include erroneous or placeholder information. It appears that the certification body has done it again, reporting a 108MP+12MP+12MP+2MP rear camera system. Several rumours, however, indicate that the S23 Ultra will have a 200MP primary camera, two 10MP zoom-focused cameras, and a 12MP ultrawide shooter. So we’re not buying TENAA’s camera information.
